More than 9,000 students who were at risk of dropping out of school attended Ombudsman Educational Services learning centers nationwide, and more than 80 percent of eligible students graduated with a high school diploma in 2009.
Ombudsman partners with more than 120 school districts across the country to provide an alternative learning environment for middle and high school students who have issues with attendance, credits or academic skills, or social and family challenges that keep them from being successful in traditional school.
