THE HEALTH Ministry yesterday agreed there were weaknesses in the public health sector, though it underlined the need for cooperation among all involved bodies if the situation was to improve.
For this to be achieved, according to the Ministry's Deputy Permanent Secretary Stella Michaelidou, everyone needs to contribute by distancing themselves from behaviours and tactics of the past.
Michaelidou was responding to the intense criticism voiced by doctors' union PASYKI on Wednesday on the way the public health sector was being run.
