Singapore-based Advanced Material Engineering has won a $4.65 million contract to supply the U.K. Ministry of Defense with 40mm low-velocity ammunition.
AME, a wholly owned subsidiary of ST Kinetics, part of the Singapore Technologies Engineering group, said delivery will start near the end of this year and be completed by the end of 2010.
The low-velocity contract is the third 40mm ammunition deal signed between ST Kinetics and the United Kingdom since February 2008. Orders now total more than $100 million.
