Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd. (Nasdaq:GILT), Petah Tikva, Israel, has announced it has been selected by Telespazio Brasil, a Finmeccanica/Thales company, to provide a 1,200-site Gilat SkyEdge II broadband satellite communications network. The network will be used by Sicredi Bank for both primary enterprise networking connectivity as well as back-up. Telespazio Brasil is one of Brazil's largest satellite service providers.
