SYDNEY, Sept 18 Asia Pulse - Liquified Natural Gas Ltd (ASX:LNG) says a member of Japan's Toyota Group has signed up to buy 1.5 million tonnes per annum of liquified natural gas for 12 years from its Gladstone project in Australia.

Toyota Tsusho Corporation (TSE:8015) has signed a heads of agreement with Golar LNG Energy Ltd, LNG Ltd's largest shareholder, for the delivery of LNG from 2014 to 2026, the companies said on Friday.

The parties will also discuss Toyota Tsusho's potential acquisition of a minority equity interest.

The agreement is for the full production capacity of the Gladstone project's first processing train, which is expected to ...
