Evercore Partners Inc. has hired Mark Burton, 50, as senior managing director.
He is responsible for providing senior-level counsel to leading financial institutions.
Previously, Mr. Burton was vice chairman and senior member of the Financial Institutions Group at Barclays Capital in the United Kingdom, where he was also responsible for providing counsel.
