REDMOND, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 18, 1998--Edmark(R), an IBM developer and publisher of award-winning educational software, today announced the shipment of the Macintosh(R) version of Let's Go Read!(tm) An Island Adventure(tm), as part of a new series of titles to help children build reading skills.
The program features powerful IBM(R) speech recognition technology that has been adapted to respond to children's voices. Also included are 12 original interactive books in which children apply reading and thinking skills.
