Nicholas S. Ambrosi of Libertyville A private family committal service with full military honors for Nicholas S. Ambrosi, 65, will be held Saturday, Sept. 19, at St. Matthew's Cemetery, Hawthorn Woods. A public memorial service and celebration of his life will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18. at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, 24500 Old McHenry Road, Hawthorn Woods, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Born June 22, 1944, in Chicago, he passed away Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2009, at home, surrounded by his family. Nick was formerly of Palatine and had lived in Libertyville for the past 23 years.
