Boston Firefighters CU Gets TIP
DORCHESTER, Mass.-The state Division of Banking said it has approved an application from Boston Firefighters CU to expand statewide with a so-called TIP (for trade, industry or profession) charter serving any professional firefighter in the Bay State.
The amended charter will allow the $150 million credit union to accept all employees and retirees of the fire departments whose members comprise the Professional Fire Fighters of Massachusetts.
