NEW YORK -- Chain drug retailers are reinforcing their therapeutic skin care positioning with the rollout of in-store clinics.
Acne care and treatment for minor skin conditions, for example, are now being offered at CVS Caremark Corp.'s MinuteClinics.
"We are a convenient and affordable health care destination for parents and young adults who are trying to care for personal and medical needs," MinuteClinic chief nursing officer Donna Haugland said last month. "Our new acne care services in particular can help ease the concerns many teenagers have about skin conditions and pimple breakouts."
