NEW YORK -- Advances in technology along with growing demand from an aging population have created a burgeoning niche for anti-cellulite formulas with significant price points and strong margins.
Over the past few years suppliers across the mass market and in the prestige side of the business have created dozens of creams and gels that promise to smooth over the unsightly dimples that occur as people get older and their skin ages.
The effectiveness and price points of these products vary widely, with the least costly formulations at about $25 and the highest-end creams and gels costing upwards of $70.
