NEW YORK -- One of the hopes for a rebound in the shampoo arena rests with marketing, and Maybelline New York and Procter & Gamble Co. (P&G) are among the suppliers that have initiated major campaigns to drive shampoo brands.
Maybelline has made the Garnier brand a sponsor of the "Project Runway" TV series, while P&G has made Head & Shoulders an official locker room product of the National Football League.
