It's not exactly a new band. It's more like a better-thought-out version of an older act.
"Just the name The Flops was our way of saying it was a consciously casual thing," John Munson said, talking about the other group he previously played in with Matt Wilson -- or their other other group, I should say.
"The problem was, we wound up getting pretty serious again."
