As a physician who has practiced in this community for the last 13 years, I can easily list the numerous ways our current system of health care is broken.
We no longer have the luxury to wait any longer to fix our current health care model. If we do, we will continue to see that only the wealthiest are able to afford health care.
In many ways it is good that passions are running high on this topic - it means citizens are interested and deeply care about the outcome.
