INTRODUCTION
In the last few decades, abdominoplasty has become an increasingly popular and satisfying method of body contouring (1), (2), (3), (4), (5), (6), (7), (8). Factors that may have contributed to the popularity of abdominoplasty include: the society's emphasis on youthful appearance, increased awareness of self-image and fitness and the growth of aesthetic surgery in general (1).
