NEW YORK, June 18 /PRNewswire/ -- The New York Times Company (NYSE: NYT) reported increased advertising volume in the month of May at both The Boston Globe and the Regional Newspaper Group, and decreased advertising volume at The New York Times.

The advertising volume results were as follows:
