To the Editor:
Jim Blanton was a Navy corpsman serving with "A" Co. of the 1st Marine Division. I was also a corpsman with "B" Co. of the 1st Marine Division.
We both landed on Red Beach, Inchon, S. Korea on Sept. 15, 1950.
Jim died that day 59 years ago.
