HERB WATSON may approach Homearama 2009 as both builder and chairman, but those roles diverge with one focus: accessibility.
That's a buzzword for Watson, owner of The Walters Company Inc. The general contractor is constructing two of 12 houses in this year's showcase of homes at Culpepper Landing in Chesapeake.
One of those dwellings - an EasyLiving house - is a first for Hampton Roads and one of less than a handful in the state that takes accessible living and "aging in place" to the next level.
