INTRODUCTION
Educational concerns about the environment can be viewed as a logical consequence of the change in the relationship between human beings and the natural world over the last two centuries, to the view that earth and its resources are valuable only insofar as they satisfy human needs. Clark (4) explains that this attitude has had a greater negative influence on Nature than natural events such as earthquakes and volcanoes.
