The Love Bites Pastry shop was founded in 2007 by Darcy Remillard, the sole owner, who calls it "her tiny little hidden gem." The European-style Moultonborough pastry shop--named Best Country Road Pastry Shop by New Hampshire Magazine in 2007--features such popular-selling items such as the Chocolate Suicide cake and a range of cheesecakes as well as wedding cakes and custom-made sculpted cakes. The most unusual order Remillard has received? A Halloween-themed groom's cake--in the shape of a severed leg with a bail and chain.
