23 September 2009 - Finnish chemical company Kemira Oyj (HEL: KRA1V) said today it will acquire the iron coagulant business of Dutch chemical company Akzo Nobel NV (AMS: AKZA) in Sweden, Norway and Denmark.
No financial details were available.
The acquisition is expected to be completed on 2 November 2009. The transaction represents approximately 20% of the Swedish iron coagulant markets.
