DALLAS, June 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Cabec Energy Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: CBNR) today announced that it must postpone the previously set record date of June 10, 1998 as the record date for the spin- off of The Union Group Inc. The Union Group Inc. is a newly formed Nevada Corporation that will hold all energy-related assets and liabilities formally held by Cabec Energy Corp. The reason for this temporary delay is that additional time is needed to consummate the transaction and is likely that it will take more than sixty days, which is the maximum number of days that Delaware law allows to pass between a record date and the date of distribution.
