SINGAPORE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 24, 1998--Motorola, Inc.'s Cellular Infrastructure Group (CIG) today announced it has been awarded an initial $21 million contract from Pacific Bangladesh Telecom Ltd.(PBTL) to install a Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) digital cellular network in Dhaka and Chittagong, Bangladesh. The announcement was made during the 1998 CDMA World Congress, the industry's annual conclave being held here this week.
