John Curtis Extale, 80, a native and life resident of the Syracuse area, died on Tuesday after a long illness. Jack attended Nottingham High School and University College. He served with the U.S. Army in Korea for two years as Artillery Chief Fire Direction Computer, before being discharged with several medals and decorations in 1953. He was formerly with the Syracuse Glass Co., of which his father Bertram E. Extale, was president.
