It looks like another new direction for the bistro tucked behind (or is that next to?) Lemon Grass restaurant in the Center Armory building in Armory Square.
Bistro Elephant is becoming a steakhouse, according to Randy Miller, who serves as general manager for both Lemon Grass and the bistro. Both are owned by Max
Chutinthranond.
You'll find such items as dry-aged steak, Kobe beef, Berkshire pork and lobster tail on the new Bistro Elephant menu.
What you won't find is anything with an Asian or Pacific Rim flavor.
"We're leaving the Asian theme to Lemon Grass," Miller said.
