KANATA, Ont., June 25 /CNW-PRN/ - MDS Nordion announced today plans to grow its operations in Kanata. The company will build a new
radiopharmaceutical building and intends to expand its cobalt-60 operations. MDS Nordion requires more production and storage space to develop exciting, new products used to prevent, diagnose and treat disease. Advances in science have led to new applications for radioisotopes -- applications that provide hope for people battling diseases such as cancer.
