WEST CHESTER, Pa., June 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Cephalon, Inc. (Nasdaq: CEPH) announced today agreements with Dompe S.p.A. to market, sell and distribute PROVIGIL(R) (modafinil) Tablets and MYOTROPHIN(R) (mecasermin) Injection in Italy. Under the agreements, Dompe will assume all commercial responsibilities for promoting and distributing both products in Italy. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Cephalon is developing PROVIGIL as a treatment for daytime sleepiness associated with narcolepsy and, in collaboration with Chiron Corporation (Nasdaq: CHIR), is developing MYOTROPHIN as a treatment for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS, or motor neurone disease). Upon ...
