Kazakhstan's ENRC acquires shares in CAMEC
ALMATY. Sept 23 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan-based Eurasian Natural Resources Corporation (ENRC) has officially confirmed the acquisition of shares of the UK's Central African Mining & Exploration (CAMEC).
"ENRC confirms the acquisition of shares of Central African Mining & Exploration Company Plc (CAMEC) at 20 pence per share," ENRC said in a press release.
At a 20-pence share price, the estimated value of CAMEC comes to 574 million pounds sterling (nearly $950 million).
