CardiacAssist Inc. announced that Charlotte-based Carolinas Medical Center has adopted the company's TandemHeart[R] System. Carolinas Medical Center is in select company: more than 100 of the nation's elite cardiac centers-including all of the top-10 as ranked by U.S. News & World Report- have now adopted TandemHeart (see also CardiacAssist Inc.).
