New Horizons Worldwide, Inc. (Pink Sheets: NWRZ) announced that its trading symbol changed to "NWRZ.PK" from "NEWH.PK".
The change in trading symbol was required due to an OTC Bulletin Board requirement related to the reverse stock split followed by an immediate forward stock split, which was approved by the Company's shareholders at the Annual Shareholders' Meeting held on July 28, 2009. Reverse Stock Split As a result of the reverse stock split, shareholders owning less than 25 shares of New Horizons Worldwide, Inc. stock immediately preceding the reverse stock split are entitled to receive cash compensation of $1.85 per pre-reverse split share.
