GE Fanuc Intelligent Platforms, a unit of GE Enterprise Solutions, announced that Sansteel Group Corporation has chosen the company's breakthrough process control system, Proficy[R] Process Systems for its furnace revamp project in Shanghai. The solution, which is valued at approximately $300,000, will provide critical control for both the metal furnace and the plant utility system, featuring GE Fanuc's PACSystems RX3i controller.
