To honor the federally recognized September 11 National Day of Service and Remembrance, a team of Union Bank employees will volunteer at Firebaugh City Park to assist drought relief emergency food distribution efforts in west Fresno County. The bank is working in conjunction with HandsOn Central California to help the Community Food Bank's efforts to distribute three million pounds of food each month through October in emergency aid to Huron, Firebaugh, Mendota, Selma and San Joaquin.
Volunteers will assist in Firebaugh on Friday, September 11, distributing canned and dry goods to clients and transporting food to recipients' cars. Additional Union Bank volunteers ...
