Alpha Natural Resources, Inc. (NYSE:ANR), a leading U.S. coal producer, announced that Allen Scott Pack, Jr. has been named executive vice president-sales and president of Alpha Coal Sales Co., LLC. Pack, 50, succeeds Joachim Porco, who has accepted another career opportunity in the coal industry.
