A motel guest, shot in the stomach and chest and wrestling with his armed assailant, was justified in fatally shooting both his assailant and a second man beating a second guest with a chair, the commonwealth's attorney has concluded . The other guest won't face charges either.
Mothers of the two slain men said they disagree with the findings about the June 11 gunfight in a second-floor room at the Econo Lodge at 865 N. Military Hwy. Greg Underwood, the prosecutor, shared his report with at least one of the mothers Thursday before making it public.
