Baotou Steel Group, CIC still to agree on JV - senior employee
Shanghai. September 24. INTERFAX-CHINA - Baotou Iron and Steel (Group) Co. Ltd. has yet to finalize a planned joint venture with state-owned China Investment Corp. (CIC), a senior employee from a Baotou Steel Group subsidiary told Interfax on Sept. 24.
This is contrary to a report in the Economic Information Daily on Sept.
24, which said that CIC will set up a joint venture with Baotou Steel Group to explore and develop rare earth resources in northern China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The joint venture is speculated to have a registered capital of more than RMB 1 billion ...
