First of new Lexion units to be delivered in August; machines "Americanized" and " Caterpillarized"

Following the formation of Caterpillar Claas America LLC, a joint venture company formed with Harsewinkel, Germany-based agricultural equipment manufacturer Claas KgaA, Caterpillar Agricultural Products Inc., has introduced four new models of the Lexion combine into the North American ag market for delivery in August of 1998.

The new combines, the Lexion 460, 465, 480 and 485 will be available in both tracked and wheeled versions, and are designed to be the most powerful and technologically advanced combines sold in the North American market, according to ...
