More than half of all people diagnosed with cancer receive chemotherapy, a treatment that kills cancer cells but also damages many healthy cells. Chemotherapy is well known for producing unpleasant side effects. Fortunately, both medical and nonmedical interventions can help cancer patients get through their chemotherapy more comfortably.
