Every 'Yes' vote vital to future recovery -- Cowen

EVERY single 'Yes' vote in the Lisbon Treaty referendum will help towards Ireland's economic recovery, Taoiseach Brian Cowen said yesterday.
Despite praising the work being done by Fine Gael and the Labour Party to secure a 'Yes' vote, Mr Cowen will not be appearing with Enda Kenny and Eamon Gilmore to make a joint call to support the treaty.
The leaders of the 'Yes' campaign did make a joint appeal in the Lisbon I vote, but it wasn't regarded as a successful tactic.
