TOKYO & FOSTER CITY, Calif. -- Equinix, Inc. (Nasdaq:EQIX), a provider of global data center services, and INTERNET MULTIFEED CO. (MF), a high-quality Internet Exchange provider and operator of the Japan Network Access Point (JPNAP[R]), today announced an agreement that will extend the JPNAP peering fabric into the Equinix Tokyo-2 (TY2) International Business Exchange[TM] (IBX[R]) data center. As a part of the agreement, MF will establish a point-of-presence for the JPNAP service in Equinix's TY2 IBX center, enabling Equinix customers to directly exchange IP traffic, or "peer," with JPNAP's customers, including Internet Service Providers (ISPs), CATV carriers, content ...
