Edmonton -- Fire bans are now in place at 15 provincial parks and recreation areas due to dry conditions in central Alberta. The bans are effective immediately and will continue until further notice.
The fire bans apply to the following areas.
- Aspen Beach Provincial Park
- Buck Lake Provincial Recreation Area
- Calhoun Bay Provincial Recreation Area
