Toddler reported abducted by uncle

Tacoma police were looking Friday night for a nearly-2-year-old youngster reportedly abducted by his 25-year-old uncle.

In a media bulletin, police said the young boy, Azeal Degruy, was last seen just after 4:30 p.m. Friday with his uncle, Omari Lateef Degruy, driving away from the area of 1300 E. 62nd St. in Tacoma in a gray, older-model Oldsmobile sedan.

The bulletin said Omari Degruy has a history of mental problems and should be considered dangerous and a flight risk. News reports said he could be headed to Seattle or Portland.
