Stuyvesant Plaza, which opened 350 years after Henry Hudson sailed
past the future site of Albany and two years after the area's first suburban shopping malls began operating, will mark its golden jubilee with a variation on the premium that was offered in 1959.
A trip for two will again be given away, but this time to Amsterdam, the Netherlands, instead of Bermuda.
Nearly fifty years after its founding, the plaza -- at the corner of Western Avenue and Fuller Road in Guilderland -- remains a busy retailing center, and officials said little time will be spent looking back.
