DIRECTORS' DEALS: Masses of deals as closed period ends - but the sales are the ones to watch
Simon Thompson pointed out earlier this week that US company directors are selling stock as fast as they can (see A time for caution http://www.investorschronicle.co.uk/Columnists/SimonThompson/article/20090921/2ee9e71c-a68f-11de-9922-0015171400aa/Time- for-caution.jsp A time for caution). It's the same here. Just before the start of the credit crisis, UK company directors were in receipt of GBP18.30 in sales' proceeds for every pound they spent on shares in their own companies. Now, that figure has blown out to GBP34.60.
