Terell Marcos and Jeff Enslin (at left) are stooped over, concentrating hard on the task at hand. The two 18-year-old students from Loch Raven High School in Baltimore County, Md., are smoothing concrete. In construction terminology, they're "placing and finishing." Working with concrete, Enslin says, "can be an art form." Adds Marcos, "It was hard at first, but I got the hang of it."
