A U.S. bankruptcy judge ruled Friday that former auto dealer mogul Denny Hecker will not be allowed to exclude his Crosslake mansion from bankruptcy liquidation proceedings.
The ruling by Judge Robert Kressel is a blow to Hecker, who claimed that the $8.9 million recreational property was his homestead just before filing for bankruptcy on June 4. Hecker previously lived mainly at one of two homes in Medina. Until recently, his estranged wife, Tamitha, resided in one Medina home. His girlfriend, Christi Rowan, currently resides in the other.
