PARIS, June 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Coflexip Stena Offshore (Nasdaq: CXIPY) announced today that its Norwegian entity, Coflexip Stena Offshore Norge, has been awarded a high technology supply contract worth nearly US$ 95 million by Statoil for the Asgard B field development.
The contract covers the supply of a high technology flexible riser system on Asgard, including 24 dynamic risers installed in the reverse Pliant Wave(TM) and Lazy S configurations. The high pressure produced water/gas injection (500 bar) and production (390 bar) risers will respectively use CSO's patented Teta and Coflon(R) technologies to withstand the high pressure and temperature (130 ...
