LAST year, when the credit crisis hit the global economies, consumer markets suffered massive fallout, as credit literally dried up. For HCL Infosystems, India's largest manufacturer of personal computers ( PCs), it translated into a long and painful gap period in its growth story, with several quarters of negligible or lacklustre growth.
