Abu Dhabi Basic Industries Corporation (Adbic) has appointed Eng Jamal Salem Al Dhaheri as the company's new chief executive officer, effective October 1.

Al Dhaheri, 39, brings with him extensive management experience, most recently holding the post of senior vice president of metals at Adbic.
