It's Milan's turn, on the six year cycle, to host EMO; the event takes place from 6-10th October at the new Fiera Milano.
EMO is generally accepted nowadays as the world's principle trade fair for advanced manufacturing technologies, and so is always eagerly awaited by the production engineering fraternity, but it's of course an especially challenging time for the show to be taking place. Nevertheless, latest figures show that over 1,250 companies have confirmed their attendance, representing 35 countries (70% of exhibitors are 'overseas' from the Italian perspective); and the organisers are anticipating 200,000 visitors.
