UPTON Robert D. Henderson, 62, of Upton, MA died Sunday morning (September 27, 2009) at his home surrounded by his loving family after a courageous year long battle with brain cancer. He was the devoted husband of Cecelia E. (Hansen) Henderson and the cherished father of Summer of San Diego, CA. and Cody of Upton, MA. He was also the father of the late Jacy Henderson who died in 2000.
He was born in Worcester, MA, the son of the late Ed and the late Margaret (Gurry) Henderson and spent his childhood in Upton. He attended the University of Georgia where he graduated with a B.S. in Forestry, attended O.C.S., and proudly served in Vietnam for (2) years as a US Army ...
